The machine does the labor so people can do bigger things.
That is the whole meaning of the name, and the whole reason we are doing this.
Where the name comes from
木牛流马 — the "wooden oxen and flowing horses" — were Zhuge Liang's grain-hauling machines, carrying supplies across terrain that should have been impassable. Seventeen centuries later Čapek gave the same idea another name: robot.
Both names say one thing: the machine does the labor so people can do bigger things. liuma builds that idea on large language models.
Who we are
We are a small team building enterprise agents. Our customers are concentrated in manufacturing and supply chain: vehicle assembly, communications ODM, photovoltaics, dairy, electronics contract manufacturing, outsourced sourcing.
We do not build a general assistant, and we do not build a canvas for you to figure out yourself. We take one job you actually have to get done this week and build it with you into something repeatable, acceptable, and owned by your organization.
That the criteria belong to the customer is a hard rule for us: hand over your own acceptance script and it may only run that script, never rewrite it. You can check that line by line in the trajectory.
